Not your typical furniture store ~ Everything VanEss Expressions sells is our own original wood design - individually & personally handcrafted by us - we do no resale (selling other people's products), nor do we wholesale our items. Our items are only available thru our website or local shows we attend.
From the wood selection, to crafting the piece, to the last coat of varnish - each piece is handcrafted by us, in our Minneapolis workshop. We use only the highest quality materials and personally examine the wood to best show the unique grain for the piece being made.

Handcrafted Classic Wood Nut Bowls ~ Wood Nut Bowls are a tradition around the Christmas holidays, but are great for entertaining year round. Our classic wood nut bowls are individually handcrafted from 100% hardwood. Although similar in design - each is unique & original. Our standard woods are Oak, Ash, Maple, Cherry & Walnut, though other woods may be available. These classic wood nutbowls make excellent holiday gifts. Unique, Handcrafted & Custom Furniture ~ We make a variety of accent & occasional tables, floor mirrors and other furniture items - but these items are not available for shipment thru the website. All of our pieces are 100% solid hardwood ~ no pine, plywood, or laminates. We use a variety of wood stains & dyes to enhance the grain or add color- but we never paint wood.

We do not import any products or materials. Each item is individually & personally handcrafted by us in Minneapolis ~ from the original design, to the selection of the wood, to the very last coat of varnish ~ and we do it one piece at a time. It's the details that make a piece really special, and we are all about the details.
