The 'Gifts & Decor' pages show items we currently have available for immediate shipment. We try to keep a variety of the most popular designs in stock, and replace sold items with similar as soon as possible; but, since each piece is individually handcrafted, you will never see the exact same item a second time. We hope you find what you want - in stock, but if not, maybe we can create that perfect piece you are looking for.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Orders for items similar to those shown, but where you would like them custom made to your own special needs or personal tastes (shape, size, wood, etc) are normally accepted, depending on our current workload. Check out our 'Gallery' pages for examples of past items, then Contact Us - noting the Item Number or description, and all the particulars. We will get back to you with an estimated shipping date and price. Make sure to let us know if the piece is for a special occasion and we will make every effort to meet your timeline.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

We realize there are 'extra special people' and 'extra special occasions' that require extras special gifts. Please send us your ideas, designs, specifications, etc. for review. We will take a look at your request, determine if it is within our current capabilities, how much time will be required to complete the order, shipping & handling particulars, and the price. Once everything is agreed to and confirmed, we will process your order. Depending on how unique or how personalized the item is, we will require a 25%-50% non-refundable down-payment, but if for any reason we cannot meet our end of the commitment, all monies will be immediately returned.

QUANTITY ORDERS

VanEss Expressions is a very small family woodworking business, creating unique, original & custom wood gifts and home decor. Everything we sell is individually and personally handmade, by us, in our Minnesota workshop. We do not import from or 'farm out' items to other manufactures. We are not equipped for mass production - nor do we ever intend to be. We also do not sell wholesale, consignment or do drop shipments. Our items can only be found on our websites or at the occasional local art fair we attend. We are woodworkers, not 'artists'. but like Art - the original has the value because it is unique - and we do not do 'prints'.

However, we do realize there are times when people might like multiple, similar items; and we would normally accommodate such requests. If you require multiples of a particular item - please Contact Us and we will discuss. We will make every attempt to keep them as similar as possible, but since each piece is individually handcrafted, they will not be identical.
