Please note - as of 7/12/08 VanEss Expressions will NOT be taking any custom or special orders. The only items available for purchase are shown on our Gifts & Decor pages, or our nut bowls under Miscellaneous.

The 'Gifts & Decor' pages show items we currently have available for immediate shipment. We try to keep a variety of the most popular pieces - styles and colors - in stock, and replace sold items as soon as possible with similar pieces; but since each piece is individually hand-crafted, we do not carry a large inventory and it changes often. We hope you found exactly what you were looking for in stock, but if not, maybe we can create that perfect piece you.

There are three types of Special Orders: Custom, Quantity, and Extra Special Requests.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom Orders are for items that we have previously offered but are no longer in stock (see our 'Gallery'), or similar to items - that you would like tailored to your own special needs or personal tastes (shape, size, wood, color, clock, accessory, etc). These requests are normally accepted, but since your piece will have to be custom made to your specifications, shipment would be depend on our current workload. Please Contact Us - noting the Item Number or discription of the piece (and/or one similar to what you want) and all the particulars. We will get back to you with an estimated shipping date and price. Make sure to let us know if the piece is for a special occasion and we will make every effort to meet your timeline.

QUANTITY ORDERS - There are two types: Volume and Bulk.

Volume Orders are Custom Orders in quantities of 6-10 pieces of a particular item. We realize there may be times when people might like multiples of a particular item, and we would like to accommodate such requests. We will let you know if your request is within our current capabilities and approximately when we would be able to complete your order. Please remember that each piece is individually handcrafated; and even though we will make every attempt to keep them as similar as possible, there will be slight differences.
Bulk Orders - (over 10 pieces per item) should be pre-empted with a telephone call to save us both time and effort. Our pieces are intended for the individual - unique, handcrafted items for their own use, or as gifts; and are not for resale. We are not equipped for mass-production (nor do we want to be) and cannot guarantee we will accept these order. If there are special circumstances that would require larger quantites of a particular item - please Contact Us and we will discuss.

We realize there are 'extra special people' and 'extra special occasions' where an 'off the shelf' anything, just will not do. We will take a look at any request but, because we want you to be delighted with the outcome, we cannot guarantee we can take on the project. Please send us your ideas, designs, specifications, etc. for review. To better understand exactly what you are looking for, a picture or drawing (with dimensions) would be best. Once we receive your request, we will determine; if it is within our current capabilities, how much time will be required to complete the order, shipping & handling particulars, and the price. Once everything is agreed to and confirmed, we will process your order. If for any reason we cannot satisfy our end of the commitment, all moneies will be immediately returned.
